This central Victorian Shiraz, crafted through a blend of typical maceration and whole bunch fermentation, showcases the exuberant beauty of its fruit in a younger, more vibrant expression. With flavours of ripe cherries and plums leading the way, supported by a gentle oak influence and a softer tannin profile, this wine captures the essence of central Victoria's terroir. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of dishes, this Shiraz is a testament to the region's winemaking prowess and the art of creating wines that delight the senses with their lively character. A wine to be drank younger and while improving with age it will not age as well as heavier reds drink within 5-7 years.

Appearance: This Shiraz displays a captivating array of colours, deep yet vibrant reds to enchanting shades of violet. Its hues mirror the wine's vibrant character and hint at the luscious flavours and aromas that await exploration.

Aroma: Upon nosing the glass, the wine greets you with an alluring bouquet that combines the youthful energy of ripe cherries and plums with the sophistication of French Oak. The result is a harmonious fusion of fruit-forward aromas and subtle oak influence. The whole bunch fermentation imparts an added layer of complexity, with delicate floral undertones and a touch of earthiness that add intrigue to the aromatic profile.

Palate: With a focus on vibrant fruit expression, this Shiraz dances across the palate with an exuberant energy. The combination of typical maceration and whole bunch fermentation has allowed the fruit flavours to shine with intensity. Ripe cherries take centre stage, delivering a burst of natural sweetness that is balanced by the wine's youthful vibrancy. Unlike heavily tannic wines, this Shiraz boasts a softer tannin structure, ensuring a smooth and approachable experience that doesn't overpower the palate.

Food Pairing: The vibrant and fruit-forward nature of this central Victorian Shiraz makes it an excellent companion for a variety of dishes. Pair it with grilled meats like lamb chops or beef burgers, where the wine's lively fruit flavours will complement the savory notes of the protein. The wine's soft tannins make it suitable for lighter dishes as well, such as roasted chicken with herbs or vegetarian pasta dishes featuring tomato-based sauces. The Shiraz's energetic personality will enhance the overall dining experience.
